Got a message claiming to be from the government about help with energy bills - total scam. Don’t tap on any links they send. They’re just trying to steal your banking details.

Got a text from a number saying I could get a £400 energy rebate if I clicked on a link. Didn’t bother clicking it, seemed dodgy to me.

Got a text from 07593284619 about some energy bill support saying I was owed £400. The message had a link to mygov-energy-help.com which seemed a bit dodgy. Since I'm based in England, I reckon the website would use a .co.uk, not a .com. So I just ignored it.

I got a text saying it was from GOV.UK, something about the Energy Bill Support Scheme. It said: “GOV-UK: You are eligible for £400 off your energy bill. Apply now at mygov-energy-help.com.” I’m a bit iffy about it, my instinct screams scam! Not sure if it’s legit or not.

Didn’t get a call, but a text claiming to be from the government about energy bill help. I’m pretty sure it’s dodgy since the link they sent wasn’t a .gov site. My phone’s antivirus also flagged it as a possible phishing attempt, so guess it’s best to stay clear.

I got a message from 07593284619 claiming there’s some energy bill support thing I’m due - like they say I owe £400 back or something. The text included a link to mygov-energy-help.com but I’m over in England so it should be a .co.uk address, not .com. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.
