I had a rather alarming experience recently when someone, posing as my son, reached out and requested money under rather questionable circumstances. They messaged me, claiming that his phone was out of action and that he was using a friend's device to get in touch on WhatsApp. It all felt a bit off, so without wasting a moment, I reported the whole shenanigan to the authorities! Scammers are becoming ever more tricky, aren't they?
