A company separate from CPW handled my switch. They cleared what was left on my contract and got me switched over to O2. Everything's been fine up to now.

Got a call from some bloke named Adam claiming he was from Carphone Warehouse. He tried to sell me a couple of new deals and two iPhones, even tho my current contract's not up for another year! I phoned Carphone Warehouse myself and turns out it’s all a load of rubbish. Don’t believe a word they say!

Some bloke rang saying he was from Carphone Warehouse, said I could get a phone upgrade with them. He had a cracking offer but on a totally different network. He didn't ask for my bank info, but wanted my name, address and date of birth. He said I’d get a follow-up call next week from their confirmation team, then just ended the call. I got suspicious since I wasn’t even asked about switching networks and my credit’s rubbish anyway. So, I rang Carphone Warehouse myself and guess what? They said they have no record of me contacting them and told me to just disregard it.

This was a bogus phone deal. Definitely don’t pick up, they just keep calling with more scams.

Got a call from someone claiming to be EE, saying my contract was nearly up. I just said I wasn’t interested and ended the call.
