I picked up and there was someone with an accent on the line who never asked for me by name but wanted to talk directly. I just said no thanks and ended the call. He phoned me a few more times, probably about four, but I ignored and eventually blocked the number.

Got a message saying I’d been near someone with the new variant and to get a free test by visiting this link: trace.uk-order-testkits.com/pcr. When I clicked, it looked like an NHS site but wasn’t legit. They wanted me to pay 99p for delivery, which is dodgy since the test was supposed to be free!
