I picked up and there was someone with an accent on the line who never asked for me by name but wanted to talk directly. I just said no thanks and ended the call. He phoned me a few more times, probably about four, but I ignored and eventually blocked the number.

Got a message saying I’d been near someone with the new variant, and they asked me to get a test-kit from trace.uk-order-testkits.com/pcr. Turns out it’s a dodgy website pretending to be the NHS and even though it says the test is free, they want you to pay 99p for postage. Proper scam if you ask me!

Got a message saying I’d been near someone with the new variant and to get a free test by visiting this link: trace.uk-order-testkits.com/pcr. When I clicked, it looked like an NHS site but wasn’t legit. They wanted me to pay 99p for delivery, which is dodgy since the test was supposed to be free!
