Utterly typical of scammers, isn’t it? Just had a text purporting to be from my offspring, begging for cash. No chance! I've promptly blocked the number.

So this bloke rings me up claiming he’s the son and that he’s smashed his phone screen and wants me to reply to a new number. Totally fishy, especially since I’m not even a mum. Just blocked him right away and deleted the message!

Got a text saying I'd just spent £995.00 at IKEA on my credit card. It said to reply YES if it was me, but if not, ring 01218276161 right away. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
