I received a dodgy text from this very number, so exercise caution! It's wise to block it! The message claimed to be from my daughter, stating her phone was out of commission, and that this was her mate’s device.

Got a text saying “Hi mum I’m messaging from a mate’s phone coz I smashed mine and theirs is running out of battery, can you text me on my new number 07931864328?” Thing is, I’m a bloke and definitely not anyone’s mum. Smells fishy to me, probably some kinda scam. Watch out!

I received a message that said, "Hi Mum, I’ve just smashed my phone and this is my replacement number 07548592653." When I looked up the number, it popped up as spam. If you get a message or call from either of these, best to just ignore and not respond.

Got a message from this number, said it was my bank warning about some dodgy activity. Asked me to tap on a link, but felt fishy. Definitely seems like a scam to me.
