Got a text claiming to be from Barclays about a payment to Amazon for quite a bit of money today, asking me to confirm. They told me to ring back on 0333 339 1002 if I hadn’t approved it. I phoned Barclays on their official number and they said they hadn’t sent any message like that. Definitely a scam. I’m about to look up that 0333 number and will share what I find later. If you get a message like this, don’t click any links!

Both this number and 07935753367 have been sending scam texts pretending to be Barclays. They asked me to ring an 0333 number mentioned in the comment above.
