Got a call from a man pretending to be from BT, saying my internet and landline would get disconnected soon. He asked me to press 1 to speak to an engineer. I didn't hang about, just ended the call and blocked the number right away on my home phone.

I keep getting these automated calls telling me my internet’s going to get cut off if I don't press 1. It’s the same message but from different numbers every time. Honestly, I’ve had like three of these today alone, and it’s driving me nuts getting so many calls!

I got a recorded call with a really posh accent saying it was BT. They told me my phone would be cut off in 24 hours because of some hacking issue. Pretty worrying stuff!
