For the last three months, my business has been getting constant calls from a group of numbers, including this one, about supposedly owing money for an ad in some magazine that isn't even real. We've now had to report it to the police as it’s become quite serious.

Got a call from some bloke about an advert I never agreed to, and the company won't pick up when I try to sort it out. He said he was from the police, but when I told him I'd only chat with him after hearing from the company, he said that's not how it goes and then called me a w##ker. Since then, he's been ignoring my calls from various numbers.

Some bloke rang me claiming he was from some law enforcement agency, saying I owed cash for an advert in a magazine I never signed up for. Seemed a bit dodgy, and when I tried calling him back, he just didn’t pick up. Weird situation.

Got a call from someone saying they were Mr Shepherd from UK Law Enforcement. They actually knew my name and said I owed some company cash. They claimed today was the last day and threatened they’d come to my house to deal with it.

Got a call from someone claiming to be a UK enforcement agency. They tried to say they were connected with UK Marketing Direct or something like that. As soon as I asked them for their registration number, they just hung up on me.
