Got a call from this number right after I’d just ended a call with another dodgy one. The person claimed to be from HMRC saying I owed taxes or something. Total scam, I reckon.

Beware of this number, it's definitely a scam. They claimed to be contacting me but couldn’t even get my name right. This is the third time they’ve tried. I ended up losing £600 by buying Google gift cards and sending them the barcodes. One time, they pretended to be my friend and even showed her picture. Another time, they said it was my daughter asking for £3550. Luckily, my bank made me hold off and check with my daughter first. I thought I was really careful but they still managed to trick me. I got a message saying they’re keeping a parcel for me and I need to pay a quid and share my address details, something about the address label being ruined but not my name. Then they said they’d send it out again. Felt a bit dodgy to me, especially as it was some kind of virtual person chatting on screen.
