I asked for his contact number to ring him back and see if he was legit, but he gave me the number for Manchester Royal Infirmary - 0161 2761234. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Just finished submitting my covid info by calling 119 after a test and instantly got a call from this number. Got a call from someone called Jack, sounded like he had a thick Asian accent, claiming to be from the NHS asking about Covid symptoms. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me, dodged that one easily.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the NHS, asking if I needed any support because of covid. Then they started asking about my life insurance and who it was through. I told them I wasn’t sure and they kept pushing me to find out. I ended the call pretty quickly. Weird thing was, they also mentioned my address right at the start of the conversation.

I got a call claiming to be from the NHS Track & Trace lot, asking if I had life insurance. They said they needed to update their records or something. When I asked why they wanted to know who my provider was, they said the NHS might step in if my insurer didn’t pay out for anything COVID-related. I told them I wasn’t comfortable sharing that info and then the caller just cut me off. Bit strange if you ask me.

Got a call from someone saying they were working for the NHS and were updating their records. They started off by nicely asking how everyone in my family was doing, then suddenly started quizzing me about life insurance. Wanted to know which company it was through and how much we were paying roughly every month. When I didn’t give them the details, they kept pushing for answers, which was quite annoying.

She then said I’d be receiving a call from 111 to confirm a vaccine appointment. Weirdly, she asked about life insurance again. I repeated I didn’t have any, and then she just hung up on me. Strange experience!
