Got a voicemail saying it was from the security dept at 'Your Bank' about my Visa and Mastercard. I just hung up and blocked the number right away.

Just like a few others have said, it was a rubbish scam call, totally obvious and unconvincing. Honestly, try a bit harder next time, people!

Got a call from a Tesco Mobile number claiming there was a 600 pound withdrawal from my Visa or Mastercard. Thing is, my bank never uses Tesco Mobile, so I knew right away it was dodgy. Definitely a scam.

Got a missed call from this number, but when I rang back, nobody picked up. There was a voicemail warning that if you’ve been contacted by this number, you should block it because it might be spoofed. Sounds dodgy to me!

They claimed to be from my bank but it turned out they weren’t!

I got a call from someone claiming they were from my bank, wanting me to approve a payment on my MasterCard. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from 07591307741 with a prerecorded message saying there was a dodgy £600 charge made overseas on my credit card. They told me to stay on the line, but I hung up straight away. I rang my bank myself to check and it turned out to be a scam. Don’t be fooled by this!

Got a call about some Mastercard foreign charge, sounded like a scam to me. Just hung up straight away, defo don’t hit 1 or anything like that!
