I couldn't take the call, but when I checked the voicemail, it was a jumbled recording urging me to halt any transactions "to an overseas destination" and to press 1. It's obvious this is a scam! It's rather unsettling that it came from what appeared to be a standard mobile number.

Fraud Alert - I mistakenly picked up this call while retrieving my phone from my bag. The recorded message pretended to be from my bank, urging me to approve an overseas transaction by pushing '1'. Curiously, they didn’t mention any specific bank name-just kept saying 'your bank'! Quite suspicious, if you ask me.

Received a call regarding my Mastercard or Visa account, claiming that a withdrawal of £600 had been made. However, the number used was from Tesco Mobile, which seems odd since my bank doesn’t operate with Tesco Mobile. Clearly, this is a scam!

Received a call from this number, but I didn’t pick up. Subsequently, I got a message indicating that if this number has contacted you, you should put it on your blocked list, as they suspect their number might have been cloned. Quite alarming, to say the least!

Got a call from 07591307741 with a prerecorded message saying there was a dodgy £600 charge made overseas on my credit card. They told me to stay on the line, but I hung up straight away. I rang my bank myself to check and it turned out to be a scam. Don’t be fooled by this!
