Dodgy call, definitely some kind of scam.

Like others have said already, this phone number seems to be involved in some sort of scam where people pretend to be a family member, like a son or daughter. I’d avoid replying to any messages from it. The scammer apparently started using this number after the real person’s phone got damaged, and they were also using another number, 07510788959, alongside it. Just be careful with calls or texts from these.

My 80-year-old nan got a message from someone saying their phone got broken and they’d got a new number, asking her to text them. It wasn’t anything harmful, but she did get a bit anxious about it. The weird thing is, none of her kids have changed their numbers, so it was a bit confusing for her.
