I let the call ring out since it was from an unfamiliar number. I simply don’t pick up calls from strangers. They didn’t bother to leave a message either.

There were mentions of government regulations and alterations dating back to 2019, along with inquiries regarding my credit card history from before 2012. He insisted I verify my address and I requested they erase my information from their records. In a rather casual tone, he said, “Not a problem, thanks!” before abruptly ending the conversation.

Honestly, I can hardly make out what he's saying since he rattles on at such a rate, practically talking over me.
I've ended up blocking the number now.
