Definitely a scam alert. Got a message from this number saying I’d been near someone with COVID-19 and asked me to click a link in the text. My NHS COVID-19 app showed no such notifications, plus I’ve been home all day with no one around me. So there's no way I’ve come into contact with anyone. This has scam written all over it. Don’t click on that link, it’s risky! Just ignore it completely!

I got a message from this number saying I'd been in contact with someone who tested positive for the Omicron variant of Covid-19. It urged me to sign up for a PCR kit right away using the link provided: https://officalnhs-uk.safe-direction.com - which was mentioned in the email.

However, my NHS Covid-19 app is fully operational, and I haven't received any alerts about exposure. This mobile number seems a bit dodgy to me. If you happen to come across this scammer, for goodness' sake, avoid clicking on that link at all costs!
