Got a call from a woman with an accent I couldn’t place. She claimed to be from my bank, mentioned a £900 charge on Amazon but weirdly only said 'Nation', not Nationwide. I asked her which office she was calling from and she just hung up on me. After that, I rang Nationwide’s Fraud Team and they told me lots of people had been getting similar calls about charges to Amazon around that amount. Sounds like a proper scam going around!
