Got a call from a lady who claimed to be from my "Mobile Network" on 08/01/94 at 15:03, saying she was with EE to check my details. What they did was quite clever, using public info to sound legit. I put them on hold, pretending to fetch my email, and they just dropped the call. I rang back and ended up speaking to a lovely woman who insisted she didn’t make that call, so it was clearly a spoofed number.
