Got a call supposedly from HMRC saying I hadn’t paid my taxes and telling me to press 1 or 2. The voice was some weird American robot. Being an employee, my taxes are sorted through my salary, so I know HMRC wouldn’t ring like that. It’s a total scam from abroad. Understandable why some might get tricked, but seriously, don’t pick up or press any buttons!
