Somebody texted me a link saying they were from GMB, but it felt off. So, I called GMB directly. Nicole, the person I spoke to there, said she’d have a look at it next week and see what’s up. They’re investigating it now.

The phone went straight to voicemail when I answered, nobody said a word and then the call just ended. What a pointless scam attempt!

I got a call and when BT Call Safe picked up, there was just silence, then the caller ended the call.

I just let the voicemail take the call and stood there listening. The person hung up before leaving any message. Most likely another scam, like always!

This number called me, saying they worked for some info centre and told me that all the broadband providers and banks across the UK were teaming up to deal with fraud. Honestly, it felt like the most obvious scam attempt I’ve ever had!

Haha, so dodgy! They said they were from the TPS, but total nonsense. Watch out, definitely not legit!

I got a call from a woman with a strong Indian accent asking if I was Mrs Reynolds. Thought it might be some kind of annoying sales pitch or scam. Just as I was about to question her about what rubbish she was selling, the phone suddenly went dead!

I got a call from 07588 083080 today and it was a woman with quite an accent claiming to be from the telephone preference service. I didn't bother listening much and just ended the call.

Some automated call came through and after I said hello, there was this awkward pause before a voice finally asked “Is this …?” I replied yes and just hung about... then the line just cut off. Blocked straight away.

I got a robocall telling me I was involved in a tax fraud investigation, then it hooked me up to a call centre pretending to be HMRC. While waiting, I searched the number on Google but found nothing. When the person answered, I asked why there were no hits online. He said the auto system used a different number but claimed he could prove his identity if I Googled again. I wasn’t keen to do that, so I asked if there was a direct number to call him back. Without a word, he just cut the call.
