Got a call from 07587 951694 today out of the blue. Didn’t give them my number or anything, so this was definitely one of those scam calls. My tip? Just don’t pick up if you see that number flashing on your screen.

I picked up the phone but stayed quiet, waiting to see who was on the other end. They said something like, “This is HR, please ring me back on WhatsApp to talk about an interview” or something along those lines, and then they just ended the call. I was curious, so I looked the number up on WhatsApp without calling back (didn’t want to risk a scam). The contact showed the name Ethel, with a photo of a woman, and underneath it said “Customer Service Department NO. 00837.” No clue which company that department is from, though.
