Got a call from this number saying something about insulation. They kept insisting we had fibreglass insulation up in our loft, which we definitely don’t. When I asked them for dates or any proof, they couldn’t really back up what they were saying. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

Someone I didn’t know called me, asking loads of questions about my computer.

I got a ring from someone claiming his name was Matthew, saying they needed to survey my loft insulation. He mentioned that their manager would ring me back in about 15 minutes. I found the whole thing a bit dodgy. Later on, my phone rang again but I didn’t pick up. I’d be careful with calls like this, seems like it could be a scam.

Keeps ringing me up, saying my insulation isn’t good enough or something... so annoying!

The caller didn’t say their name or which company they were from but claimed they’d fitted insulation at my place a while back (which was done under a government scheme some years ago). They knew my address and my name and kept pushing for me to have a survey done and get new insulation installed. When I asked about the price, they refused to give any details. Once they saw I wasn’t interested in buying anything, they got quite snappy and ended the call abruptly. This is at least the fourth time I’ve had a call like this - all of them have been quite aggressive and disrespectful.

Got a call from Warmer Heating - they came out last year to sort the loft insulation and wanted to do a follow-up. Sounds like they were trying to pitch me some more stuff too, which is fair enough, but I wasn’t about to pay for anything extra. So that was that, no deal done.

Someone rang up saying they were from Warmer Heating. I asked how they got my number, and they told me they’d done some loft insulation at my place. I told them that wasn’t true. Then they said it must’ve been 12 years ago and maybe I didn’t live there back then. But if that’s the case, how did they know my name? It all felt a bit odd so I just ended the call.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, seemed to be up north somewhere. Didn’t pick up and there was no voicemail left. I’ve just blocked the number now.
