We got this recorded call supposedly from our bank, saying two charges had gone through on our card for a load of money. My husband didn't pick up straight away, so he missed the start, but he's certain they never mentioned the bank's name or gave us a number to ring back. It definitely smells like a scam to me, especially since the number wasn't one banks usually have. But I'm puzzled how they'd actually get cash if they didn't give any way to get in touch.
