Picked up the phone around noon, a bit past twelve to be precise. The caller was on hands-free, and the racket in the background was dreadful. He was attempting to inform me that the loft insulation we'd had installed was now considered insufficient by the council and required replacing. He then inquired about my age bracket and whether I was retired. I replied that I was still under 60 and not retired, and just like that, he ended the call abruptly. Quite odd, really!
