This bloke claimed he was Paul Beachy from some bailiffs or law enforcement, rang our company insisting we owed £3,000 from 2019 to an advertising firm called Media Kettle LTD. Thing is, we've never even used that kind of service. He also said we'd got two court letters and that they were planning to come round that very evening. We checked his number on Google and found loads of bad reviews calling it a scam. We told him that and he said he'd check it out and phone us back... surprise surprise, no call came. Watch out, they want you to pay right over the phone.

Got a call from this number saying some high court enforcement officer was meant to be visiting my place today. They asked me to confirm my address but when I told them they must have got the wrong person and the wrong address, they insisted I’d received two letters about it. Didn’t buy it and quickly ended the call. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

I got a call from some guy claiming to be a bailiff, said he had a high court writ against me. He knew my name and old address, but rang my work number without mentioning where I worked. He gave his name as Gary Adams, said it was about some Google Adwords advertising I supposedly agreed to. He also said he had a recording of me trying to cancel over the phone, which I’m pretty sure was fake. When I told him I’d moved, he said the vans’ drivers would get my new address using DVLA records... sounded very dodgy to me.
