Some bloke called from a number, sounded Indian, saying he was from HM Revenue and that I owed money with a warrant for my arrest. Total con artists - they should seriously be taken down!

This call was honestly just awful. Imagine someone weak or easily worried getting told they’ll be arrested for tax fraud if they don’t hit one! It’s really chilling. I really hope the police are checking out stuff like this and manage to track down the scumbags behind these phone numbers. Proper nasty behaviour!

I got a call from some bloke claiming HMRC was taking legal action against me, told me to ring them back. Same thing happened last month, this time an automated man’s voice saying HMRC had issued a warrant for my arrest. Total scammers!
