Got a text from this number claiming to be my kid and even used my actual name. They asked for money but kept ignoring my calls. After a while, I got fed up and threw my phone down. When I finally asked which child it was, they said the eldest. Apparently, they couldn’t do online banking and wanted me to transfer some cash for them. I gave a fake name when replying and then phoned my eldest for real. They were asking me to pay £950 into some bank account with the info they provided.
