Got a call from this number claiming to be Virgin Media about issues with my internet and router. They tried to trick me into giving them control of my Android phone. I played along but didn’t actually follow their instructions. When I told them I’m a computer engineer and called them out as scammers, they tried to argue with me. They were asking for stuff no genuine Virgin Media agent would ever request. Also, I could hear another scammer in the background doing the same script on a different call. Definitely avoid this number, just hang up immediately and don’t engage with them.
