I never got a call, just a text about some Mr R Davies being added to my payees, which I have no idea about. They said if it wasn’t me, I needed to click a link to cancel it. Honestly, don’t trust these messages, it’s a total scam.

Today, I got a text on my phone saying someone had been added to my Nationwide account, which I hadn’t done at all. The message included a link to a site where you could report it if it wasn’t you. Naturally, I avoided clicking on the link and instead looked elsewhere to report the suspicious message.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Mr R Davis from Nationwide. Definitely a scam, so don’t respond or tap on any links!
