This bloke Andrew Robert Moss rings up pretending to be a bailiff, telling me he’s just 20 minutes away to collect some supposed debt linked to an advertising mag my hubby signed up for through his small business. It’s all a bloody scam trying to frighten you into thinking he’ll show up to take your stuff or you’ve got to pay right then to make it go away. Happened here in Midlothian, Scotland! Make sure you report it to Action Fraud and don’t pick up calls like these - it’s nothing but a con.

Do not give these people any money at all! I got a call earlier saying we had an urgent debt to clear or they’d send bailiffs to our house and the amount would get bigger. After contacting the company they claimed to be from and also the police, I was told not to hand over a penny. They kept ringing every 10 minutes trying to scare us into paying. I’m really grateful for this website and the reviews here as it helped me see straight away that it’s a scam. Seriously, don’t pick up or trust what they’re saying.

Got a call around 8pm on 3/8/18 from a bloke claiming to be with the High Court Sheriff's Office. He said I owed money from a debt back in 2016. Total rubbish! Definitely a scam, so watch out for this one!

I got a call at work from someone asking for my missus. When I said she wasn’t around, they claimed to be high court enforcement officers and said they’d show up in 20 minutes. My manager phoned me, so I headed downstairs and did a 1471 to get their number. I rang them back and was told to f*** off and then got hung up on. It’s a scam, plain and simple - these lot, calling themselves Child Protection UK LTD, trick people into thinking they owe money for sponsoring books they never agreed to. This has been going on for yonks; just search online and you’ll find loads warning about it.
