I received a call earlier today from a chap named 'Steve Huxley', who was touting advertising opportunities in a police magazine. I had to cut the conversation short, as he went on and on. He was ringing from a mobile number, 07584472696, so be cautious of this bloke! We let them know that we weren't keen, and honestly, he didn’t take the news very well at all. Quite off-putting, really!

Caution should be exercised. Earlier today, our small enterprise received a call from someone purporting to sell advertising slots for a magazine called WATCH, claiming to collaborate with Sussex Police to support vulnerable individuals and victims of domestic abuse. The sales pitch was aggressive, with the caller pushing for an immediate decision on the advertising deal, whilst offering price reductions that felt quite fishy. The tone quickly turned quite abrasive, leaving us feeling pressured to make a snap decision. I've since reached out to Sussex Police to gather more details regarding this call. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.
