I got a recorded message with a thick American accent saying I’d be facing legal trouble because I supposedly replied to a letter from the tax office. The message told me to press 1 to stop the action. I just ended the call and blocked them straight away.

Had a call from someone claiming to be Mary Smith, but the accent was clearly Indian. Sounded sketchy right from the start. Definitely a scam, so I'd say don’t trust or share any info with these callers. Better to just hang up!
