Got a call from this number the other day, some bloke with dodgy English asking for me by name. I said yes since I was waiting on a call from a firm, but then he goes on about a washing machine and just hangs up. Honestly, I’m fed up with these nonsense calls all the time. The phone companies seriously need to step up and sort this out. At this rate, mobiles will be useless since no one will bother picking up unless it’s a familiar number.

It’s too painful to say she died last year, so I’ve held back on that. I reckon soon I’ll have to politely tell them to bugger off. Why don’t the phone company do anything about these awful people? Got a call from someone pretending to be from Marks & Spencer's. They mentioned a postcode that definitely wasn't mine and asked if I still lived there. If anyone rings you like this, best thing is to hang up and block the number. They throw out a fake address mixed with your real one, so if you say the wrong one isn’t yours, they somehow get hold of your actual home address. Stay careful with these sorts of calls!
