This number rang me up and I could hear some automated voice claiming to be from HMRC. It mentioned something about a letter I supposedly ignored, but it was really hard to catch what was being said. Then it warned me about some kind of action and told me to press 1. I just ended the call because real government departments don’t phone you from strange numbers like this and never ask you to press buttons like that. Definitely fishy and dodgy.
