I got a call from someone named Ahmed using this number. He said there was a Zoom meetup happening the next evening and asked if I was planning to join. Then, he wanted me to share a six-digit code that I’d just received on WhatsApp. Luckily, it was a dodgy attempt to hijack my account but didn’t work. Turns out, a few others in my group got the same call. We found out it all happened because one of our group’s accounts got hacked, spilling all the contacts to the scammer.
