Got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, sounded like he had a strong accent, maybe African or Indian. He told me my National Insurance number had been used fraudulently across several accounts in South America. He tried getting me to confirm my NI number, my postcode, and asked about what banks I used and roughly how much money was in them. Then he even asked if I recognised some postcodes from North Wales, like LL32 or something. Felt really dodgy.
