To combat the incessant wave of scam calls and messages, it's essential to take charge and REPORT them! If you come across dodgy emails or screenshots of suspicious messages, do send them over to '[email protected]'. For scammy or unwelcome texts, just forward them to '7726'. Be vigilant, as clicking on any dubious links might inflict malware on your device. Consider texting CALL to '7726' with the relevant details of any nefarious calls, including the number in question; this will set off a warning for that number across your telecom provider's network. Additionally, voice your concerns to your MP regarding these scams. If you've inadvertently shared your bank details with scammers, reach out to your bank without delay. Next, file a report with 'action fraud', then notify '7726', and be sure to share your experience here too. For further insights into scams, a quick search for 'action fraud' or a visit to 'police.uk' will offer useful directions. And always remember-never return calls from unfamiliar numbers! I have received a call from some dodgy individuals attempting to extract bank information, possibly under the guise of a legitimate company. I urge you to exercise extreme caution and disregard anything these crooks might say. If we all turn a blind eye to such unsolicited calls, they won’t be able to access our hard-earned cash. They are concealing their identity for nefarious reasons. A number starting with +44 isn’t from a genuine landline but likely a computer-generated one. Please do your part to report these scams; you can do so at phishing.gov.uk, or simply text "DALL" to 7726. Stay vigilant!

This number seems to be linked to EE, yet it appears to have a Vodafone voicemail system. Quite suspicious, wouldn’t you agree? Sounds like a right dodgy scammer to me!

I've been receiving calls from some dodgy sounding folks who seem to be after my bank details. Let me tell you, don’t fall for their nonsense - they’re nothing but a bunch of lowlifes! They claim to represent a company, but don’t be fooled; there’s no credibility there at all. Honestly, if we all just decided to ignore these calls, they’d never get their grubby hands on anyone's cash. If the number starts with +44, chances are it’s not a regular landline but rather some automated system. Make sure to flag any dodgy attempts - give phishing.gov.uk a shout, or text 'DALL' to 7726 to report it! Stay safe out there!

I got a voicemail from this number, but it said it was Vodafone, which is odd cos the number is supposed to be EE. Sounds like some dodgy scamter to me.

these scammers from asia always want your bank details, absolutely don’t trust a word they say, they invent company names to sound legit but there’s nothing real behind them. if nobody answers or just ignores the call, they won’t get into your accounts. they mask their numbers for a reason, they’re up to no good. if you get a call starting with +44, chances are it’s not someone real, just a robocall. make sure to report these fraud attempts on phishing.gov.uk and you can also text ‘dall’ to 7726 to help stop them.
