Got a strange message on my work phone asking how I was doing. I replied just in case it was someone interested in my services. After that, the person started asking for my name and if I was a woman, which felt a bit weird so I stopped responding. Then they popped up on my WhatsApp, said sorry, and started sending loads of messages. Had to block them straight away!

Got texts from WhatsApp and regular message from some bloke calling himself Daz. He asked what I was doing lol. I replied with a question mark 'cause I was confused. Then he said he’d dialed the wrong guy by accident. Tried asking who I was but I checked his number online first and just blocked him straight away.

Got a message that said, “Hey, how’s it going? What you doing?” then a little later a WhatsApp popped up with, “Oops, I think I sent this to the wrong number, sorry, just on my way home from work.” A bit after that, another WhatsApp came through: “Really sorry if I bothered you, not sure who you are?” Then one more message showed up saying, “Just wondering who I accidentally messaged this late at night.” Turns out this same person has been texting some of my workmates over the years as well. I’ve blocked and reported them now.

BEWARE, THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM AND VERY ANNOYING! Got a call from 07542 814561, and the person claimed they were a fraud victim saying their National Insurance number got misused or something like that. Honestly, it’s just another FAKE and SCAM call that’s really dangerous and harrassing. Don’t answer or engage - just block and report it straight away!

I received a text at the stroke of midnight, which I only discovered this morning. It simply said, "Morning, how are you? What are you up to?" Naturally, I was a bit puzzled and texted back, "Who is this?" The reply came through, and apparently, it was some chap named Daz who claimed to have dialled the wrong number. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, I got two more messages from him, still trying to figure out my identity, followed by a WhatsApp message apologising and stating he was baffled about how he got hold of my number in the first place. I've decided to block him now, just to keep things straightforward!

I was getting ignored at first, so I tried messaging them on WhatsApp. Then suddenly, my WhatsApp started replying on its own! I've blocked the number on both calls and WhatsApp. This all happened just before midnight. When I replied asking "who's this?" and said "no worries" after they claimed it was a wrong number, they just kept pestering me. Now I’m worried because messages on my WhatsApp keep sending automatically, and shortly after I even got a random message on Instagram. The worst part is this is happening on my work phone, which anyone can see.

Randomly got a text from this number, just like others here, it said something like "Hey, how's it going? What's going on?" Didn’t know who it was, so I tried to check online without actually opening the message and stumbled across your site. Ended up deleting the text straight away. Bit odd if you ask me.
