Someone rang saying they were from HMR about some problem with my tax returns. When I questioned them, they kept going on with the same story. Since I deal with HMRC myself, I know they don’t call you on a mobile, ever. Then the person on the other end started calling me a liar, kept shouting “liar liar liar” and then just hung up. Honestly, I wish the government would do something to stop these scam calls properly. I’m on the TPS list too, but it doesn't seem to make any difference at all.
