Got a call on my landline around 2.50pm today from someone with a really bad line and very broken English. They claimed they were ringing for BT Broadband, but I actually have Sky. They went on about my internet supposedly switching to some Virgin Media servers, which was messing things up. I asked what they needed me to do, and they wanted to know if I could get online using one of my gadgets. Once I realised they were after remote access, I told them I’d be reporting their number and ended the call straight away.
