Got a call about a PPI claim, said I could get £1800 but they want £600 off it unless I switch my life insurance - which I've only just sorted out. Totally felt like a scam, but weirdly, the bloke had my date of birth and stuff, no idea how. Anyway, blocked the number straight away.

Some bloke called saying I'd won £1800 from a PPI claim and asked for my bank details. I told him to just post a cheque but he ended the call straight away. Felt a bit fishy if you ask me!

Got a call from someone saying I’m due around £1500 for PPI from this “black horse” thing. Sounded like those Indian call centres. When I asked them what company black horse was, they couldn’t really explain it, which I already knew anyway. Was probably just after money. When I pushed back, the guy suddenly said the line was bad and then just hung up on me. Typical scam!
