I got a dodgy call on my landline from 07577869301. The voice sounded fake and claimed to be from British Telecom, warning me my internet was about to be cut off because of hacking activity linked to my IP. Thing is, I’m not even a BT customer. Plus, they wouldn’t call from a number starting with ‘07’ since that’s usually mobiles, not official BT lines. They told me to press '1' to talk to BT which I’m sure was just a trick to steal personal details.
