This morning, I went through the exact same thing.

Got a text asking me to confirm I’d got an email about an interview from a firm I never applied to. I hadn’t actually received anything. They wanted me to send my email address again if I didn’t see their message. When I asked who they were and what the job was, they just went quiet. My advice? Don’t give out your details to stuff like this.

Got a message saying they’d got my application and that an email was sent for more details, but I never actually got any email. Plus, the email address they gave me looked kinda dodgy and wasn’t complete. Seems a bit fishy to me.
