Got a call from some romance scammer saying he's a self-employed pipeline engineer. He told me he'd landed a big contract in Australia and needed me to access his account and move 2.6 million to a firm to buy stuff for the project. He said he runs a business in London called Huberts Constructions. The bloke gave his name as Andre Michael Hubert and said he was a widower with a 9-year-old daughter who’s living with his mum in Greece. Definitely felt dodgy to me.

I've seen these scammers using random Facebook profiles and claiming to be from Huberts Constructions. Their whole act is about getting you involved in money laundering. They’re really not very slick at it. The number they’re using is still live and connected to Viber. They say they’re out in Australia working on an oil rig or something, and because of "bad reception" they want you to handle their bank info and password to move money for them. Total nonsense, watch out!
