Ignore any such messages! I got a text asking if I authorised some payments from Barclays, then a call came through. Next thing I know, they're trying to pay for a holiday through my PayPal. Luckily, I spotted it quick enough and shut down access to my PayPal account. They tried to take more than £1800 but it was thankfully refunded. In future, I’ll just ring my bank straight away and won’t reply to anything like this.
