Got a call from someone who sounded like a scammer from India. The bloke on the other end was chuckling to himself the whole time, proper weird.

Got a call from someone saying they were with the NHS and they even knew my name. They started asking me all sorts about insurance stuff. Pretty sure if it was really NHS Scotland, they’d send a letter first or call from an 0800 number, not just ring out of the blue like that.

Got a call saying they were from the NHS asking about any symptoms before my jab. They knew my first name which made me a bit wary. I didn’t say much, trying to figure out their angle. Suddenly they switched to asking if I had Life Insurance. I questioned why the NHS would be bothering with that and they said it was some kind of special COVID insurance offer. I asked for the official NHS contact to verify it and then the line just went dead. Sounded like a busy call centre in the background.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the NHS, asking if I'd had the Covid vaccine and if I’d experienced any side effects. They seemed quite legit at first, but then they suddenly started asking about my life insurance. I told them if they want that info, they can send me something in writing.

I got a call from some bloke with a really thick foreign accent on a mobile number, and shockingly, he called me by my name. Claimed he was ringing from the NHS, asking if anyone at home was showing signs of Covid-19. I called him out straight away, told him he was a scammer, and he just ended the call! Blocked that number quick smart. No doubt they’ll ring back from somewhere else though. It’s crazy how these people keep getting through and nothing seems to stop them.

I got a call asking if I needed assistance with the NHS track and trace, they seemed to know most of my info but messed up my last name. They also asked if I had any insurance. Bit odd if you ask me.

Since I’d signed up for vaccine trials, I figured it might be genuine at first. But the moment he started questioning me about my insurance details, I just ended the call. Definite scam.

I told him I wasn’t sure what the call was about and that I’d call back later to check the number - then he just hung up on me. Proper worrying for anyone who’d just take everything he said at face value.
