Like a few others have mentioned, I told them I wasn’t interested right away. They kept going on about what kind of finance I could get. Told them again I wasn’t keen. Ended up blocking the number.

Some bloke from England rang up and somehow knew my name and where I live, which I never told him. He started on about the “wrong kind of insulation” being put in my place, just like every few weeks he does on my landline. I told him straight up he was a scammer, and it seemed to really rattle him. Kept on saying that he calls regularly with the same nonsense. I ended up reporting his number to Report Fraud, just to be safe.

Got a call today about some kind of "insulation inspection" which sounded exactly like all those other 95000 local consultants using the usual script. Same old spiel as always.

I got a call on my home phone from this number. Normally I wouldn’t pick up if I don’t know the number, but this mobile looked a bit familiar so I thought why not. When I answered, there was quite a racket with a few voices in the background. A bloke then asked who I was and surprisingly seemed to know my address already. I asked what the call was about, and he claimed to be some sort of local advisor for my area. It sounded dodgy to me, so I just told him to get lost and hung up straight away.
