Got a call from some Asian lady saying it was HMRC. Just so you know, HMRC never rings you up like that. Don’t fall for it.

Got a call from a woman, she sounded like she might be from India, saying she could assist with some debts I supposedly owe. I didn’t believe it and just blocked the number straight away.

They called me saying they were from some credit checking agency, asking about any debts I might owe. I just told them to f### off straight away.

Someone called me pretending to be from the Credit Investigating Bureau about owing money. I looked it up on the FCA site and it turns out this lot ain’t even connected to them. Totally fake!

Some bloke with an Indian accent said he was from Citizens Advice, something to do with debts. He told me he was with a government office in Manchester, but then quickly changed it to Kent! When I dared to mention that Manchester and Kent are miles apart and asked if he was perhaps calling from India, he just hung up on me. Total scam, watch out!

The moment I picked up, the call was cut off. Seems like another one of those robocalls from potential scammers.

Some bloke with an Indian accent called saying he was from the Citizens Advice debt team. At first, he said he worked for the government in Manchester, but then suddenly said it was in Kent instead! When I dared to mention that Manchester and Kent are miles apart and maybe he was calling from India, he just hung up. Total scam.
