Got a call from someone saying they're from EE, offering a 40% discount because apparently lots of people are quitting EE due to bad signal and all that. They asked me to verify my email address for “security reasons”, which made me suspicious. The woman had an Indian accent and I could hear a noisy call centre in the background. I wasn’t sure if it was genuine, so I just ended the call. I’m thinking of reaching out to EE directly to check if it was for real or not.
