Got a text saying that my postal order won’t be sent because I still owe shipping costs. Seems dodgy to me!

Got a message apparently from Royalmail, no spaces or anything, saying something like ‘Important info about your parcel. Track it here: http://Royalmail.shipments-uk.com/’. Total nonsense! Real Royal Mail texts always say Royal Mail clearly at the start, not some dodgy number like this. Just blocked and binned it straight away.

I got a text early on Sunday at about 7:09 saying something like 'your order's shipment fees haven't been paid yet.' There was a link attached: https://Royalmail.shipments-uk.com/ to supposedly check or change delivery details. Seems fishy to me, probably a scam, so I thought I'd share and warn others here.

Got a text early Sunday morning, around 8:30 am UK time, saying it was from Royal Mail. It said a parcel was waiting for me at a sorting centre and I had to tap a link. Thing is, I’m not expecting anything. Royal Mail wouldn’t be messaging me that early on a Sunday for sure. Looks like a total scam to me.
