A man with an Indian accent named David Smith rang me claiming he worked for the FCA government branch. He said I was owed some tax refund from an investment with Lloyd’s. But I had to agree to purchase life insurance first. He gave me a reference number, SCA 8052. When I hesitated he got quite pushy and accused me of wasting his time. Funny thing is, I had been checking out life insurance policies on my phone just the night before. Feels like someone is listening in on me!
